Celebrex pain relief capsules are a prescription-only medicine containing celecoxib, a selective COX‑2 nonsteroidal anti‑inflammatory drug (NSAID) designed to reduce pain and inflammation. It is commonly prescribed to adults for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain, and menstrual cramps, and may also be used for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children aged 2 years and older.​

Available as oral capsules in several strengths, Celebrex pain relief capsules help decrease joint tenderness, swelling, and stiffness, improving daily comfort and mobility when taken as directed by a doctor. Your healthcare provider will decide the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your condition, other medications, and overall health status.​

Like all NSAIDs, Celebrex pain relief capsules carry important safety warnings, including an increased risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke, and gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, which may occur without warning. Patients with existing heart disease, high cardiovascular risk, or a history of stomach or intestinal ulcers should discuss these risks carefully with their doctor before starting therapy and should never exceed the prescribed dose.​

Celebrex pain relief capsules are not suitable for everyone and are not a substitute for low‑dose aspirin used for cardiovascular protection.
